consider the chance of presenting our GTPlanet / community car for another game-title/franchise? Like anybody know, GT6 is facing his death with the lack of updates, the lack of news about the game.. How big, or no.. how smart is it to presenting and developing our project for a game-franchise that isn't there for their fans.. Like Project Cars, Assetto Corsa or RaceRoom Experience, they are all busy and presenting updates and news all the time.. much more than PD.. (still waiting for the Bugatti & Hyundai VGT). We can wait for GT7 and trying to get our community VGT in that next (and probably last) GT-title, but I think we could do more and have more success with a change of plans and focus our plans to other titles. In fact, I think RaceRoom Experience is the title to have in mind on the first place ! Why? They already have a small amount of fictional cars. And better then that, we don't have to focus on 1 concept car.. RaceRoom Experience is a title that brings various kind of racing classes. Hill climbs, Cupracing, WTCC, DTM.. I was thinking these days *Thank you Santa for this idea* , to deliver the studio a proposal for a complete GTPlanet Power pack.. Including the GigaKart from Nessy.. (or any variations he made on that), a LMP2-ish car, a hillclimb car, a futuristic openwheeler and a GT-touring car. Members of RaceRoom have the choise to buy single cars from the package, or buy it all in a good friendly priced DLC pack around the 6/7 dollars. Let me know what you think.. And have a wonderful new-years-eve !

I suppose that would not be a bad idea.To tryout or first prototype in a different game. Although, that concept testing would be inside the team, no other people should know about it until we get our car in GT series. That was the goal in the first place, the make a car that would be added to the Vision segment.
I'm neither with or against this idea.

Well, yes.. you are right.. but as I've seen so far.. The GT-series is falling apart and other series are winning terrain over PD's own disney world thinking everything is still allright. I agree with you that's the first idea and we 've to stay with that.. but otherwise.. How big is the chanche our project get notice from PD and then, afterwards.. how big would the chance be to get the Community VGT in GT7? Maybe it's like you've said.. like a side-project how good/far another francise/serie will take our idea for a serious rpoject and would release a community-based car/pack for their game? Within now and 2 weeks I will start over again with the Gigakart from Nessy / daz to make it a 3D model and see that awesome design in 3 dimensions, I think a very good example how a fictional car could become a Community based cup-racer, for small tracks smaller than 3km's length. And isn't it a good idea either to make a Community based track too? A track that is designed by inspiration from other popular racing tracks aroudn the world or whole new track sections we haven't seen before (except loopings and other TrackMania stuff). Like RaceRom again.. they've fictional track that has multiple lay-outs. So, with GT-Planet members alone we could arrange a full GT-Planet Motorsports park ! In fact.. I love this idea yet more than I've ever had the same feelings with the VGT project. I won't say it is.. I won't say the Community VGT was a bad or unrealistic project.. But I see a bigger chance in this than we've ever will get a chance at PD's office to bring our VGT to the 'real' deal.

I say patience is the key in this matter. And i would still stick with the PD and the GT series since they are officially the first game company to publicly announce the deal the made with the FIA.And with the FIA and PD the games that will come will probably be a much better platform then current PC race simulation.I'm not saying more flexible, as in it is easier to mod the game, i'm saying just better.

Don't stop with your idea though. You might be right. It might happen that PD maybe never finds our project interesting, doesn't approve it, and we might end up joining some other racing simulation. So, only time will tell, but your idea is a safe re-bounce if we get rejected by PD.
